Project: United Nations Development Programme and Ministry of Higher Education and Technology “ZIMBABWE NATIONAL CRITICAL HUMAN RESOURCES SURVEY”
Narrative Description of Project
• Establish a database of human resources skills in Zimbabwe, the nature and magnitude of skills shortage and the critical skills required for economic turnaround.
• Identify critical human resources shortage areas hindering economic recovery/turnaround in public and private sectors
• Identify areas of mismatch between qualifications and necessary job competency
• Recommend strategies to address: critical human resources, mismatch in job-related competencies and qualifications, skills training and development, attraction and retention of critical human resources skills, utilization and establishment of synergies with skilled Zimbabweans in the Diaspora, and promotion and recognition of creativity and innovation in Zimbabwe.

“Brain drain in Zimbabwe’s Health Sector: Implications for Policy”
Narrative Description of Project:
The Zimbabwe Health Worker survey profiled skilled Zimbabwean health workers in the diaspora. The aim was to assess the extent and nature of Zimbabwe’s Health Worker migration in order to inform future human resources and health policies for Zimbabwe. This was achieved by use of a detailed survey on factors that induced migration, experiences of health professionals in the diaspora, and the possible scenarios for short-term and permanent return.
Project: Practical Action Southern Africa -
“Mid-term evaluation of the E-MINDSET Programme in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe”
Narrative Description of Project:
Nepachem did the Mid-Term Evaluation which covered the E-MINDSET project. It evaluated the project implementation taking into account the status of the project activities and outputs and the efficiency of resource disbursements made up to mid-term. The evaluation involved analysis at two levels: component level and project level. The evaluation at component level determined the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the aspects of activities and component design, implementation, management and monitoring of evaluation.
Project: Sedichem Business & Chemical Technology Incubator
Sedichem is a technology incubator specialising in supporting the start-up and growth of Small to medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) in chemical production technologies and products, services and allied sectors. Managed the establishment of this new chemical technology incubator funded by the Gauteng Provincial Government within the Vaal-Triangle region (Sedibeng District). Involved in developing and implementing a strategic plan for this entity and providing overall leadership.
